Musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatologyis a rapidly evolving imaging tool which hasregistered an increasing and widespread useover the last decades. Currently it is utilizedfor assessing different rheumatic pathologiesand evaluating various abnormalities both indegenerative and inflammatory diseases.Due to its limited cost, wide equipmentavailability and feasibility it is used as abedside procedure in the clinical rheumatologypractice. Nonetheless the presence of a highnumber of experts in the field, there are stillmany rheumatologists who are willing to learnthe use and applications of musculoskeletalultrasound in rheumatology, with an increasingdemand of attending ultrasound courses.The Course in musculoskeletal ultrasound inrheumatology, which has the EULAR ScientificEndorsement, is an educational initiativewhich has the aim of assisting rheumatologiststo learn ultrasound. The faculty of the Coursein musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatologyis represented by prestigious experts in thefield and who are also faculty members of theEULAR Sonography Courses.
